This natural healing method, which is almost 200 years old, is based on the classic stimulus-response principle used in naturopathy. The Schroth Cure is not named after coarsely ground cereal grains, known in German as “Schrot”, but after the carter and “natural doctor” Johann Schroth. More than 70 years ago, Dr Hermann Brosig introduced the medically recognised Schroth Cure to Oberstaufen, where it remains more relevant than ever.
